Meet the Principal – Edward Miano
Edward Miano, Certified General Appraiser, is the President and Senior Appraiser at MV Appraisal, bringing almost 40 years of experience in real estate valuation. As the youngest local appraiser to get his SRA designation back in the 1980’s and a former active member of the Appraisal Institute, he has been recognized and qualified as an expert witness in multiple Massachusetts courts and the Appellate Tax Board. As a founding Certified General Appraiser in Massachusetts, with past licenses in New Hampshire and Rhode Island, he has narrowed his focus to serving clients mostly in Greater Boston and Martha’s Vineyard where he has had a home and office since 1995.
With Construction Supervisor and Broker Licenses, Edward brings a well-rounded knowledge of all things Real Estate to his assignments – specializing in complex appraisals, litigation support and consulting services. With appraisal and teaching experience spanning the U.S., Caribbean and Europe, he is also a private pilot, uniquely equipped to serve island communities such as Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket.
